September 26, 2014•San Diego, California’s Saint Archer Brewing Company is offering its popular specialty brew Coffee Brown in bottles for the first time. First released last year on draft only, Coffee Brown will be shipped in both 22-ounce bottles and on draft this year in limited supply throughout the brewery’s distribution network. The 6%-abv brown ale features Maris Otter, Chocolate and Crystal malts and is infused with coffee from a local roaster. This summer, the brewery announced expansion plans that would increase its production by 45% to about 2,500 barrels of beer monthly through the addition of more fermentation tanks, a centrifuge, two new grain silos and a spent grain silo.
