February 4, 2015•Woodbury, New York-based Hornell Brewing Company is releasing its super-premium Black & Tan beer Mississippi Mud in a new 16-ounce canned format.
Mississippi Mud is currently available nationwide in its original 32-ounce ceramic jug with the image of an alligator on the front of the bottle. A combination of English Porter with Continental Pilsner, Mississippi Mud (5% abv) is aimed at the entry-level craft beer drinker with a flavor that isn’t overly hop driven, the company says. Other offerings within the Hornell Brewing portfolio include Crazy Horse, Crazy Stallion, Midnight Dragon and Arnold Palmer Hard.
