Ste. Michelle Debuts Collaborative Tenet Range

Washington state-based Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has partnered with Rhône winemakers Michel Gassier and Philippe Cambie to launch Tenet Wines, a new Syrah-focused range. The collaborative lineup features a pair of offerings from Washington’s Columbia Valley—including the Tenet GSM (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre) and The Pundit Syrah—and an entry from the Rhône Valley’s Costières de Nîmes, Le Fervent Syrah. Both The Pundit ($24.99 a 750-ml.) and Le Fervent ($21.99) will be available nationwide starting June 1, with their inaugural 2013 vintage limited to 8,113 cases and 5,000 cases, respectively. Tenet GSM ($70), meanwhile, is slated to follow in September with a 2013 vintage totaling 1,069 cases.
