Fast-Rising Zonin Launches New Prosecco Blends

April 29, 2015

Zonin Prosecco is adding to its fast-growing lineup with three new color-coded editions—Grey, White and Black. The new range takes its inspiration from DOC regulations allowing Prosecco producers to blend traditional Glera grapes with up to 15% of other varietals. Zonin’s Prosecco Grey Edition features a Glera and Pinot Grigio cuvèe, while Prosecco White is made with a Glera and Pinot Bianco cuvèe and Prosecco Black is comprised of Glera and Pinot Noir. Each entry features packaging corresponding to its referenced color. Previously, Zonin had only produced Prosecco using 100% Glera grapes.

The trio, which will be rolling out into key global markets throughout the year, will be supported by a digital and social media campaign with the tagline “Zonin Prosecco. Dress Your Feelings.” An Impact “Hot Brand,” Zonin Prosecco grew 13.7% to 290,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.
