Total Wine Expands In Texas, Entering Austin Market

Total Wine & More is set to extend its reach in Texas with entry into the Austin market. Total Wine plans to develop two Austin stores, with the first set to open later this month in the Sunset Valley neighborhood, and the second to follow this summer at Lakeline Mall Plaza.

The Sunset Valley store, expected to span around 29,000 square feet, will feature a showroom, walk-in wine and beer coolers, demonstration areas and tasting stations, as well as classrooms, according to Austin’s Community Impact newspaper. The Lakeline venue will be slightly larger, at roughly 31,000 square feet. Total Wine & More, which operates more than 100 stores across 16 states, has eight existing Texas locations throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio areas.
