June 22, 2015•Wauconda, Illinois-based Small Town Brewery has partnered with Pabst Brewing Company to extend distribution of its Not Your Father’s Root Beer nationwide.Pabst has been distributing Not Your Father’s Root Beer since March and has expanded it into 30 states. Before joining up with Pabst, Small Town was present in a few dozen Chicago bars and restaurants. Not Your Father’s Root Beer is spiced with wintergreen, sassafras bark, oak, vanilla, anise and other spices and is produced in three variants: 5.9% abv, 10.7% abv and 19.5% abv. The 5.9%-abv offering is currently available in 30 states and is expected to be national by the end of the year, with launches of the higher-alcohol versions to follow.
