•Whole Foods’ Houston-based Whole Foods Market Brewing Company is set to debut its first draft offering this summer. Rolling out August 8, the new entry is called Post Oak Pale Ale and features notes of marmalade, tangerine and grapefruit, among other tropical flavors. Post Oak Pale Ale will initially be available at Whole Foods stores throughout the greater Houston area, with statewide expansion to follow on September 18, via Ben E. Keith Co. Located within Whole Foods’ Post Oak location in Houston, Whole Foods Market Brewing produces around 38 brews. Late last year, Whole Foods opened a second on-site brewing facility—Mission Creek Brewing Company—in San Jose.

Created by Odell’s Matt Bailey, the ale is packaged in 750-ml. cork and cage bottles. Piña Agria will be available beginning in August throughout the company’s 11-state distribution footprint. Other offerings in Odell’s experimental Cellar Series include Barrel Thief, Frick, Fernet Aged Porter and Jaunt, among others.
