•Anheuser-Busch InBev’s U.S. sales to retailers were down 1.9% in its fiscal first half ended in June, the company has reported, compared with an estimated industry decline of 0.8%. The beer behemoth’s U.S. shipments slid 3.5% to 54 million hectoliters in the first half, as revenue declined 2.3% to $6.9 billion. Bud Light and Budweiser sales to retailers were both down low single digits in the second quarter, while Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois and Goose Island all delivered double-digit volume growth. ABI’s Bud Light Rita franchise of flavored brews encountered “strong competitive pressure” during the period, however, which slowed their progress.

Drizly has partnered with retailer Super Buy Rite—whose Jersey City store is 30,000 square feet—to offer delivery in the Hoboken and Jersey City area via its website and mobile app.
