Wild Turkey Introduces Oldest Whiskey To Date
August 5, 2015Campari America is rolling out Wild Turkey Master’s Keep, an ultra-premium limited edition that’s the oldest whiskey from Wild Turkey ever to be released in the U.S. The new product, a 17-year-old Bourbon, is unique in that it spent time aging both in stone warehouses and Wild Turkey’s wooden warehouses, with its travels resulting in a slightly lower-proof whiskey (43.4%-abv) that’s lighter in hue and features notes of spiciness and oak, the company says. Master’s Keep is available nationally this month in limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $150. The new whiskey also marks the first Wild Turkey release since Eddie Russell was appointed master distiller alongside his father Jimmy Russell in January.
