Amazon Adds Alcohol To Prime Now Delivery Service

Amazon has added wine, beer and spirits deliveries to its new Prime Now same-day delivery service, reports Reuters. The move comes as the online retail giant launches Prime Now in its home market of Seattle, where Prime Now alcohol deliveries will initially debut. An offshoot of Amazon’s $99-a-year Prime membership program, Prime Now promises deliveries in one to two hours. Amazon, which recently opened two new warehouses in Seattle and Kirkland, Washington to facilitate faster deliveries, first debuted Prime Now in New York City last year.
