News Briefs for December 21, 2015

•Importer MundoVino, part of the The Winebow Group, has appointed Diego Lo Prete to the role of senior vice president. In his new role, Lo Prete will be based out of The Winebow Group’s Richmond, Virginia headquarters and will report directly to president and CEO David Townsend. Lo Prete joins MundoVino from wine sales and marketing agency The San Francisco Wine Exchange, and prior to that he led global marketing for Spain’s Grupo Cordorniu.
