January 11, 2016•Oskar Blues Brewery is re-releasing a former core entry, Deviant Dale’s IPA (8% abv), as a seasonal offering this month. The re-release will see Deviant Dale’s packaged in a new 12-ounce can. Oskar Blues, which produced 200,000 barrels between its Colorado and North Carolina breweries in 2015, opted to make Deviant Dale’s a seasonal offering due to a limited supply of the Centennial hops that are the keystone of its recipe. Oskar Blues’ distribution footprint currently spans 45 states and Washington, D.C.
•Butte, Montana-based Reilly’s Whiskey is continuing its geographic expansion with entry into California, Nevada and New Mexico. Southern Wine & Spirits will distribute the company’s lineup in California and Nevada and Republic National Distributing Company will handle it in New Mexico. Reilly’s currently produces shooter-geared Reilly’s Ginger Rock & Rye (33% abv) and Reilly’s Mother’s Milk (40% abv), an Irish/American blended whiskey. In addition to the new markets, Reilly’s Whiskey’s products, both of which retail for $24.99, are currently available in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas following the brand’s launch 14 months ago.
