Country Star Zac Brown’s New Wine Label Tops The Nielsen Charts
July 28, 2016Last year, Delicato Family Vineyards formed a partnership with Grammy Award-winning country music star Zac Brown to create a new California wine. What emerged was Z Alexander Brown Wines, which launched this past January with two labels: the 2013 Uncaged Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2013 Uncaged Proprietary Red Blend. Both are sourced from California’s North Coast and retail at $19.99 a 750-ml. bottle. The wines have gotten off to a fast start. According to Nielsen, Z. Alexander Brown is the top-selling new wine brand of 2016 so far, contributing 47% of all new dollar sales of wines launched this year. Market Watch has the full story.
