•Domaine Tempier, the flagship estate in France’s Bandol appellation, has purchased Domaine de la Laidière, a nearby estate located in the town of Évenos, from the Estienne family. The purchase, completed in late June, includes both vineyards and inventory. La Laidière’s vineyards, also in Bandol, will be kept separate from Tempier’s production for now, according to Daniel Ravier, Tempier’s winemaker. The purchase price was not disclosed. Wine Spectator has the full story.

•Sonoma-based 3 Badge Beverage Corporation is introducing a Grenache-Syrah-Mourvédre blend under its Moobuzz brand. The new GSM ($22)—which is 70% Grenache, 26% Syrah and 4% Mourvédre—joins a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Monterey in the Moobuzz portfolio. 3 Badge says the brand is currently up about 75% year-on-year. 3 Badge was founded in 2009 by August Sebastiani and also includes fellow negoçiant wine brands Leese-Fitch and The White Knight, as well as a number of spirits labels.

•Chicago’s SomPriya Fine Spirits has aligned with L&B USA to expand distribution of its Somrus cream liqueur brand. Somrus, which translates to “Nectar of the Gods,” is a blend of spices including cardamom and saffron mixed with almond, pistachio, rose, dairy cream and rum. Retailing at $25 a bottle, Somrus is currently present in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York and Florida. L&B USA, known for its Beso del Sol Sangria brand, will look to expand on that footprint.
