Vinexpo To Launch New York Show Next Spring
March 14, 2017International wine and spirits exhibitor Vinexpo will launch a New York trade show in March 2018, the group annnounced today.
The show will be held March 5-6 at Manhattan’s Javits Center in the 45,000-square-foot Rose Pavillion, and will be open exclusively to the U.S. trade. The target audience will be importers, distributors, retailers, brokers, e-commerce players, on-trade buyers and sommeliers, Vinexpo said.
Vinexpo hosts wine and spirits trade shows in Bordeaux, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The bi-annual Bordeaux show, which has been held in odd-numbered years since 1981, is the biggest of those. This year’s Bordeaux Vinexpo, to be held June 18-21, is expecting 2,300 exhibitors and around 48,000 trade visitors from 151 countries. —David Fleming
