April 12, 2017•Stone Brewing has debuted a new collaboration brew made with Maine Beer Co. DaySlayer India Pale Lager is a 7.5%-abv, aggressively hopped lager created by Dan Kleban of Maine Beer Co. and Cole Corbin from Stone. It’s now available on tap and in 22-ounce bottles nationwide. DaySlayer is part of Stone’s heavy metal collaboration series, which will include a total of three releases by the year’s end. The first beer, a double IPA, was released in January. The third release in the series is scheduled for August.
•Indiana-based craft distiller Cardinal Spirits, which opened in early 2015, has expanded distribution from its existing markets of Indiana and Kentucky, adding Illinois and Tennessee. Cardinal’s Illinois distributor will be Burke Beverage, while Tennessee Fine Wine and Spirits is handling the brand in Tennessee. Cardinal is distributed by Carroll Wine & Spirits in Indiana and River City Distributing in Kentucky.
