Drinks Industry-Funded Sky Ranch Foundation Awards $1.7M In Grants For At-Risk Youth
May 16, 2017Sky Ranch Foundation—a charitable group funded primarily by individuals and companies within the beer, wine and spirits industries—has awarded more than $1.7 million in grants since 2011. Established in 1961, the foundation focuses on providing support for at-risk youth. Organizations that have received grant funds include Mission, South Dakota-based Boys and Girls Club of Rosebud, as well as Oakland, California’s East Bay Children’s Law Offices, which offers resources for foster and transition-aged youth. Also receiving grant support is Woodside, California-based POPS Kids, whose “Life Without Limits” program provides specialized summer camps for motor-challenged children.
