Moët Hennessy Partners With Thirstie To Deliver Dom Pérignon Vintages Within One Hour
July 25, 2017Moët Hennessy’s Dom Pérignon has unveiled a new program under which it will sell a selection of its current vintage Champagnes directly from its brand website, domperignon.com, offering delivery through Thirstie in one hour. Rolling out this month in New York and Miami, with other selected markets to follow, the sales will be made by licensed retailers, facilitated by Thirstie’s technology and delivery service. Each delivery will arrive chilled and ready to taste.
Jorge Cosano, vice president of Dom Pérignon, said the move will strengthen the brand’s relationship with its retail customers, engaging with them “in the on-demand and immediate world they live in.” Dom Pérignon, selling above $160 a bottle, ranks as the fifth-largest Champagne brand in the U.S. by volume, up 4.3% to 61,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.
