January 18, 2018•St. Paul, Minnesota’s Summit Brewing Co. has released Dakota Soul, a Czech-style pilsner brewed with a locally sourced heritage variety of barley. The beer, a 4.8% lager made with Saaz and Loral hops, is the latest year-round addition to Summit’s portfolio. The barley, Moravian 37, is grown on just one farm in North Dakota. Dakota Soul officially launched on January 12 at the Summit Beer Hall and is now rolling out in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans, six- and 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft throughout Summit’s five-state distribution footprint.
