Ketel One Expands With Lighter Additions To The Line

Ketel One vodka has launched Ketel One Botanical, a new lineup of lower-proof vodkas distilled with botanicals and fruit. The range comprises Peach & Orange Blossom, Cucumber & Mint, and Grapefruit & Rose expressions. Each offering is at 30%-abv and contains only 73 calories per serving.

The spirits, which feature no added sugars or artificial sweeteners, are made with a base of Ketel One vodka, which is blended with a botanical recipe and re-distilled, before being infused with a variety of fruit and botanical essences. Ketel One Botanical vodkas will be available nationwide starting this month, priced at $25 a 750-ml. Jointly owned by Diageo and the Nolet family, Ketel One was down 3.5% to 2.1 million 9-liter cases last year, according to Impact Databank. —Christina Jelski
