Craft Brewing and Distilling News for October 23, 2018
October 23, 2018•Atlanta’s ASW Distillery has launched two new whiskies within its core lineup. The first, Tire Fire (45.5% abv), is made with heavily peated Scottish malt and double-distilled with a grain-in mash in ASW’s copper pot stills. Druid Hill, meanwhile, is triple-distilled, with its malted and unmalted barley sourced from County Louth, Ireland. Like Tire Fire, the 43% abv Druid Hill is also aged in new, charred American white oak barrels. Both whiskies are currently available throughout Georgia, and join Duality Double Malt Whiskey, Resurgens Rye, Fiddler Unison Bourbon, Armour & Oak Apple Brandy, and American Spirit Whiskey in ASW’s core portfolio.
