January 18, 2019•Chicago’s CH Distillery has named Steve Pine as managing director, sales and marketing. Pine has a long history in the industry that began with 20 years at Glazer’s, followed by three years as midwest division manager for Deep Eddy Vodka. Dan Janes, also formerly of Deep Eddy, has been appointed CH’s director of marketing. Pine says CH’s immediate priority is to grow sales in its home Illinois market in partnership with distributor Breakthru Beverage. Meanwhile, CH has acquired Chicago cult favorite liqueur Jeppson’s Malört, and plans to begin distilling the product in-house early this year.
