January 22, 2019•The Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas—known for its Shiner Bock label—is releasing a new beer, Shiner S’more, inspired by and containing the flavor profile of the classic campfire food. The 5.0%-abv ale retails at $11 a 6-pack and is rolling out nationwide in conjunction with the brewer’s 110th anniversary. Shiner’s parent company Gambrinus, which also owns Trumer Brewery in Berkeley and BridgePort Brewing Co. in Portland, Oregon, is among the top 10 largest craft brewers in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.
