News Alert: Constellation Brands Takes Minority Stake in Montanya Distillers

Constellation Brands has acquired a minority stake in Colorado’s Montanya Distillers. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, Constellation said that the investment was made through its Focus on Female Founders program, which is part of Constellation Brands Ventures. Karen Hoskin, founder, president, and CEO of the distillery, will remain at the helm. Currently, Montanya, which produces American craft rums aged anywhere from one to five years, is available in 40 states and through the company’s website.—Shane English
