Craft Brewing and Distilling News for November 1, 2019
November 1, 2019•Park City, Utah-based Wasatch Brewery has announced two new beers as well as a packaging revamp to debut on November 1. The new beers, Pickup Lime Sour Ale and Island Hop Tropical IPA, come in at 4.8% abv and 5% abv, respectively, with the first joining Wasatch’s portfolio as a seasonal release and the second as a year-round brew. The new label and can design places the names of the beers front-and-center with bold colors to match. The redesign coincides with a new law allowing beers up to 5% abv to be sold in Utah’s convenience stores. Wasatch’s brews are available in 20 states.
•Pawtucket, Rhode Island’s Narragansett Beer will launch Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout, its winter seasonal, on November 7. The 5.3% abv stout is brewed with Autocrat Coffee and lactose for a bittersweet beer that brings rich coffee and chocolate flavors to the stout, according to the company. Narragansett Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout will be available in 6-packs of 16-ounce cans for a limited time for around $10.
