Whisky Advocate Reschedules WhiskyFest Chicago To December 11
March 13, 2020With the coronavirus continuing to spread throughout the country, Whisky Advocate has postponed its WhiskyFest Chicago event. Originally scheduled for March 27, WhiskyFest Chicago has been rescheduled for December 11, to be held at the Hyatt Regency. All existing general admission and VIP tickets will be honored.
The move comes as the coronavirus increasingly impacts communities across the country, including Chicago. Yesterday, Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker ordered all events with 1,000 people or more to be canceled for 30 days.
Whisky Advocate will release more information about the new date, exhibitors, and other details soon. In the meantime, the magazine and the WhiskyFest team are urging its audience to take precautions and stay safe in this difficult time. The WhiskyFest team can be reached at whiskyfest@whiskyadvocate.com.—Daniel Marsteller
