•Ireland’s Boann Distillery has debuted a new single malt series within its The Whistler Irish whiskey brand. The new line has launched with the P.X. I Love You and Bodega Cask single malt whiskies, both of which are bottled at 46% abv. The former is distilled using 100% malted Irish barley and is first aged in ex-Bourbon casks before a final maturation in ex-Pedro Ximénez casks for at least nine months. The latter, meanwhile, is a triple-distilled whiskey that’s finished in Spanish Sherry butts. The new whiskies, each retail priced at $45 a 750-ml., are imported by Prestige Beverage Group and exclusive to the U.S. market.

Under the new agreement, the Piattelli, Loscano, and Alto Molino brand will be under Artel’s purview with the importer’s core portfolio retailing from around $10-$50.
