Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Year
December 11, 2020After a week-long countdown featuring some of the best wines from around the world released in 2020, Wine Spectator will announce its Wine of Year today at 11am EST at https://top100.winespectator.
Yesterday, the magazine unveiled its Nos.-4, -3, and -2 wines: at No.-4 is a 2016 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, at No.-3 is a 2015 Brunello, and at No.-2 is a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from the 2018 vintage. Earlier winners include a 2012 Champagne sourced from premiers and grands crus vineyards, an Oregon Pinot Noir, an Argentine Malbec, a Barolo, a Russian River Valley Chardonnay, and a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. On Monday, Wine Spectator will release its full Top 100 list for 2020.
