Quintessential Enters Champagne, Adding Palmer & Co. To Import Portfolio

Napa-based Quintessential has been appointed the exclusive U.S. importer for Champagne Palmer & Co., effective January 1. The new partnership will see Quintessential add Palmer’s Rosé Solera ($80), Brut Reserve ($60), and Blanc de Blancs ($90), as well as Vintage 2012 ($120) and limited allocations of select library vintages and large format bottles to its offerings.

Palmer & Co. holds over 200 hectares (500 acres) of vineyards classified as Grand and Premier Crus in the Montagne de Reims area. The upscale Champagne label was previously imported by Constellation.—Daniel Marsteller
