Control State Spirits Volume Up 8% Through September

As the first three quarters of 2020 drew to a close, the full impact of the pandemic and the resulting recession have yet to be fully ascertained, but spirits volumes rose 18% during the month of September in the 18 control jurisdictions, according to the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA), and 8% cumulatively for nine months, compared to just 3.7% growth for all of 2019.
