Colorado Cannabis Sales Up Sharply Through The First Quarter
May 18, 2021Colorado has posted total cannabis sales up 28% to $562 million through the first quarter of 2021, compared with the year-earlier period. The state’s adult-use sales were responsible for the bulk of the increase, surging 29% to $453 million, while medical sales were up 25% to $109 million. Last year, Colorado booked total annual cannabis sales up 25% to $2.2 billion, including a 24% jump in adult-use sales to $1.75 billion and a 31% increase in medical sales to $443 million.—Daniel Marsteller
