Southern Glazer’s To Handle Canopy’s Martha Stewart CBD Brand

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits continues to increase its participation in the CBD category, agreeing to handle Canopy Growth Corp’s Martha Stewart CBD brand. Southern will initially distribute Martha Stewart CBD in seven states, with more to be added in the months to come. The distribution deal follows the recent announcement that Southern Glazer’s will also handle Quatreau, Canopy’s first line of CBD-infused beverages sold in the U.S. market.

Martha Stewart CBD includes wellness supplements such as gummies, softgels, and oil drops. In addition to the new SGWS accord, Canopy announced that Stewart has become an official strategic advisor to the company, deepening their partnership. According to Canopy, Stewart “will play a pivotal role in shaping Canopy’s product innovation pipeline through her counsel in the development of novel concepts, formats, flavors, and strategic alliances. From the curation of new Martha Stewart branded products to curating products for Canopy’s wider portfolio of brands, Martha’s advisory role will help shape the future of the company’s product development trajectory.”—Daniel Marsteller
