U.S. And E.U. Reportedly Agree To Suspend Tariffs In Aerospace Dispute For Five Years
June 15, 2021In case you missed this morning’s news alert, the U.S. and E.U. have agreed to a five-year suspension of tariffs in their long-running battle over aerospace subsidies, which has impacted wine and spirits players on both sides of the Atlantic in recent years. The tariffs had already been subject to a four-month suspension dating back to March, but that window for a longer-term agreement was quickly closing before today’s announcement in Brussels.
