•Teremana, the Tequila brand launched by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is launching a promotion called The Great American Mana Mobile Road Trip. The initiative will involve a special RV/bar vehicle going cross-country to stop at military bases, fire houses, hospitals, and other locations to share gratitude with first responders across the U.S., along with main streets in various towns to encourage support of local businesses. Stops will showcase Teremana cocktails and food favorites of The Rock’s like French toast with Tequila maple syrup. Teremana depleted 230,000 cases in its inaugural year last year, according to Impact Databank.
•Frontier Spirits, owner of Pura Vida Tequila, has announced a new Luckenbach Road Whiskey Distillery, based in Fredericksburg, Texas. The 28,000 square foot facility sits on 117 acres and will feature a tasting room and the Little Peach retail shop. The company has also hired Jason Brand as its managing director and head distiller; he joins with substantial industry experience from Texas’ Garrison Brothers.
