Concha y Toro’s First-Half Sales Increase 9% To $484 Million
August 4, 2021Concha y Toro saw sales increase 8.7% to $484 million in the first half of 2021, on volume up 7.4% to 17.8 million 9-liter cases. EBITDA rose 12.5% to $93 million. Concha y Toro had full-year 2020 volume of 4 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
In the U.S., the Chile-based winemaker’s Fetzer Vineyards Co. subsidiary posted volume up 7% to just under 2 million cases for the first half, with growth led by organic California wine brand, Bonterra, together with Casillero del Diablo, Marques de Casa Concha, Cono Sur Organico and Don Melchor from Chile, and Trivento and Trivento Golden from Argentina.—Daniel Marsteller
