RNDC Adds Messier-Backed Akeso Water To CBD Range
November 2, 2021Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) has augmented its CBD portfolio with Akeso Water, the beverage brand backed by NHL legend Mark Messier, among others. Akeso will initially launch with RNDC in the markets of Florida, California and Oregon, with plans to expand nationally in 2022.
The expansion complements Akeso’s existing footprint in the Northeast and Florida markets. “Akeso’s full ingredients and production compliance transparency are visible via an on-pack blockchain verification platform which helps with customer and consumer confidence,” noted Ken Rosenberg, RNDC’s senior vice president, supplier business development.
Akeso says its CBD Powered Hydration beverage is unique in delivering 10mg of multiple cannabinoids, plus electrolyte levels that rival those in most sports drinks, specifically formulated for performance and recovery.—Daniel Marsteller
