•Proximo Spirits’ Bushmills has released the second bottling in its Rare Casks series, a 29-year-old Irish single malt. The whiskey, bottled at 53% abv, first matured for 12 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being recasked in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for an additional 17 years. Only 500 bottles of the whiskey have been released and its now available for a suggested price of $750 a 750-ml. Last year, Bushmills was at 195,000 cases in the U.S., making it the fourth largest Irish whiskey, according to Impact Databank.

•Country music star Brad Paisley is introducing American Highway Reserve Route 2, the second release from his premium Bourbon brand. American Highway Reserve Route 2 is made up of three mashbills, primarily including 12- and 4-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbons complemented by 8-year-old Bourbon sourced from Georgia. Its final aging took place aboard a rolling rickhouse that toured the country along with Brad Paisley during the summer of 2021. The 98-proof whiskey retails at $100 a bottle, with 10,000 cases available across 20 U.S. markets, as well as online through Seelbachs.
