•Bushmills The Rare Casks 29 year old Pedro Ximénez Cask, Chicken Cock Island Rooster, and newcomers from American Highway Reserve and Brush Creek are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Smirnoff has launched a new line of lemonade-flavored spirits, FMBs, and hard seltzers, kicking off at the first Billboard MusicCon. In addition to presenting the new drinks at MusicCon, the launch will be supported by a series of ads featuring musician Ty Dolla $ign. The new line includes Smirnoff Ice and Smirnoff seltzers in pink, peach, blue raspberry, and pineapple flavors. Additionally, Smirnoff has added a new peach lemonade flavored spirit. The FMBs carry a suggested price of $16 a 12-pack and the spirit retails for around $12 a 750-ml.

•Beam Suntory and the James B. Beam Distilling Company have named Freddie Noe as the master distiller for the company’s new Fred B. Noe distillery. The appointment marks the first time in the company’s history where there will be two master distillers, as Freddie’s father Fred will remain at the helm as master distiller for Jim Beam, Basil Hayden’s, and Knob Creek, among other brands. Freddie will be in charge of new and more experimental releases coming from the company’s newest distillery, which opened last year.
