May 27, 2022•Brooklyn, New York-based Threes Brewing launched a new Altbier. It’s called My Preferred Apocalypse, made with German Hersbrucker and Perle hops along with German pilsner malt, roasted malt, and caramalt. It’s at 4.8% abv and is on sale now, priced at $16 a 4-pack or $8 a single 16-ounce can on Threes’ website. Threes makes numerous varieties but is perhaps best known for its hazy IPA Logical Conclusion.
•Armada, Michigan-based Blake’s Hard Cider is launching Passion Seeker as a limited release. The new offering is a fruity, tropical hard cider made from an apple base along with pineapple and guava. It replaces pineapple-forward Rainbow Seeker, which will be retired this year. Passion Seeker is at 6.5% abv and is available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans throughout Blake’s 25-state distribution footprint for $11. Blake’s Hard Cider was established in 2013.
