Craft Brewing and Distilling News for August 1, 2022

•Hawaii-based Maui Brewing is set to acquire San Diego craft brewer Modern Times for $15 million. The combined breweries project to produce 125,000 barrels this year (of which Maui accounts for 90,000 barrels), which will make the merged group the country’s 21st-largest craft brewery according to the Brewers Association. The deal is expected to close in October.
