Dewar’s Unveils French Smooth, The Latest In Its Cask-Finished Series
September 15, 2022Dewar’s is launching the newest entry in its Casks Series of whiskies, French Smooth. Created by master blender Stephanie Macleod, French Smooth marks the fifth innovation in the series. It’s composed of a blend of over 40 single malt and grain whiskies aged for eight years in Scotland, blended, and aged again before being finished for up to six months in Calvados casks from the orchards of Normandy, France. Retailing at $25 a 750-ml., Dewar’s French Smooth is bottled at 40% abv and is rolling out nationally in October.—Daniel Marsteller
