•Alameda, California’s St. George Spirits has announced 40th Anniversary Edition Single Malt Whiskey, a new limited-edition release tied to the distillery’s latest milestone. The 48% abv whiskey is blended from 14 barrels aged at least four years and including some of the earliest whiskies laid down by St. George. The whiskies were aged in a variety of casks, including California Sauternes-style wine, umeshu casks, and Port casks. St. George Spirits 40th Anniversary Edition Single Malt Whiskey will be available in November for $500 a bottle. Only 1,982 bottles will be released.
