Edrington Takes Majority Stake In Wyoming Whiskey

Edrington has taken a majority interest in Wyoming Whiskey, gaining 80% of the company for an undisclosed sum. The move builds on the 35% stake Edrington took in the craft spirits player back in 2018. Edrington says the Wyoming Whiskey brand has outpaced the overall ultra-premium whiskey category in the U.S. in both volume and value terms over the past several years.

“We are excited at the potential of Wyoming Whiskey and believe it will contribute to Edrington’s strategic vision and become a prestige American whiskey brand under our stewardship,” said Suzy Smith, Edrington’s managing director of estate brands.
