•E-commerce platform ReserveBar has partnered with the Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. (DISCUS) to bring online spirits sales to Destination Distillery, a tourism-focused website created by the spirits trade group. Destination Distillery allows visitors to search for local distilleries and spirits trails based on their location and, now, will allow for e-commerce shopping directly through the website, facilitated via ReserveBar. Currently, more than 42 distilleries offer their spirits through Destination Distillery.

•Red Stripe, part of the Heineken portfolio, is introducing a new range of rum-based RTDs. Made with Caribbean rum, mango and lime juice, and natural flavors, the newcomers include 5.9% abv Red Stripe Rum Punch and Mojito offerings in 12-ounce slim cans. Red Stripe’s new RTD cocktails are rolling out in Florida and select Northeast markets this spring.

•Compoveda Tequila has appointed Gallo, Diageo, and Breakthru veteran Maggie Lapcewich to its board amid a wider expansion push. A three-decade industry veteran, Lapcewich was most recently EVP, chief growth officer at Breakthru Beverage Group. Compoveda also has promoted Carolyn Kissick to senior vice president of product and partnerships. The brand includes Blanco, Blanco Rosa, Reposado, and Extra Añejo offerings and is currently focused on expanding its national footprint in partnership with distributors Breakthru and RNDC as well as its affiliated SipTequila e-commerce platform.
