•Los Angeles, California’s Infuse Spirits Group has named Simon Burch as CEO. Burch comes to Infuse from Green River Distilling, which sold to Bardstown Bourbon Company in 2022. Prior to Green River, Burch held positions at Pernod Ricard, Diageo, and Moët Hennessy, including leading Smirnoff at Diageo, and Belvedere at Moët. Burch will join Infuse’s board of directors and become a major shareholder in the company. Infuse Spirits Group is the owner of its eponymous flavored vodka brand as well as Broken Barrel Whiskey Company.
•Napa Valley’s Cakebread Cellars has appointed Niki Williams as winemaker. Williams joins Cakebread following with prior posts at wineries including the Prisoner Wine Company, Chateau St. Jean, and Merryvale. She becomes the fifth winemaker across Cakebread’s 50-year history. On the company’s winemaking team, she joins Jane Dunkley, who leads Cakebread’s Central Coast label Bezel wines, and Sally Johnson Blum, who oversees Mullan Road Cellars, produced in Walla Walla, Washington.
