April 24, 2023•Patrón has released El Cielo, the latest luxury Blanco Tequila from the Bacardi Ltd brand.El Cielo is bottled at 40% abv after being distilled four times, which the company says brings out additional sweetness and makes for a smoother drinking Tequila. Patrón El Cielo carries a suggested price of $129 a bottle and is now available across the U.S. Last year, Patrón grew 8% to 2.93 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Constellation Brands is releasing a new variety pack of its Fresca canned cocktails, made in partnership with Coca-Cola. The original Grapefruit Citrus flavor of Fresca Vodka Spritz, which was first released last year, is now joined by the three flavors Mango Citrus, Mixed Berry Citrus, and Pineapple Citrus, all of which are 5% abv. The variety pack is rolling out now nationwide in an 8-pack containing two of each flavor, priced at around $18.
•St. Louis, Missouri-based Lux Row Distillers is launching Blood Oath Pact 9 Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The annual bottling this year is the result of blending a 16-year-old ryed Bourbon and a 12-year-old ryed Bourbon, along with a 7-year-old ryed Bourbon finished in Oloroso sherry casks. As is traditional for the series, Blood Oath Pact 9 is proofed to 98.6 proof, or 49.3% abv. Only 51,000 bottles of Blood Oath Pact 9 were produced and are available at retail this month for $130 a 750-ml. Lux Row Distillers is part of Luxco, the branded arm of MGP.
