Diageo Officially Names Debra Crew CEO

Following the passing of longtime chief executive Ivan Menezes earlier this week, Diageo announced this morning that it has officially appointed former chief operating officer Debra Crew as CEO of the company.

Crew was already operating as interim CEO as of Monday, when it was first announced that Menezes had become ill. She was originally slated to take on the chief executive role on July 1 following Menezes’ planned retirement.—Daniel Marsteller
