July 10, 2023•Port house Delaforce has named Worldwide Libations as its exclusive importer to the U.S. The agreement covers Delaforce’s full portfolio, including Ports and Douro Valley grown table wines. Wordwide Libations will now be responsible for Delaforce’s Ruby ($17), Tawny ($17), Rosé ($22), Late Bottled Vintage ($22), 10 Year Old Tawny ($34), 20 Year Old Tawny ($57), and various vintage releases. In addition, the importer will handle table wines Alvarinho ($19); a red blend made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca ($13); and a Touriga Nacional ($24).
•Actor Danny Trejo has launched Trejo’s Spirits, a new line of alcohol-free spirits. The new brand is kicking off with a 0.0% abv vegan Tequila alternative. The company describes the flavor as earthy with prominent agave notes and more subtle floral and citrus flavors. Trejo’s Spirits Zero Proof Tequila is currently available through Danny Trejo’s website, Trejo’s Tacos, and Stack Supply for $36 a bottle. Looking ahead, Trejo’s Spirits plans to release an alcohol-free mezcal, American whiskey, gin, and rum.
