•Breakthru Beverage has appointed Amanda Hale as senior vice president, supplier business development—spirits. In her new role, Hale will work directly with CCO Kevin Roberts to improve the supplier experience and help drive supplier success within the Breakthru network. This promotion follows Hale’s tenure as Breakthru’s vice president, supplier business development; prior to joining the distributor, Hale worked at Stoli Group USA, Beam Suntory, and Whirlpool Corporation.

•Riboli Family Wines is expanding Stella Rosa Premium Imported Brandy into Colorado, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The expansion continues the brand’s national rollout and follows its successful launch in early 2023. According to the company, the brandy has moved more than 74,000 cases since its launch. The brandy offshoot—including Smooth Black, Tropical Passion, and Honey Peach expressions—retails for between $30 and $35.

•Johnson Brothers has expanded its distribution of Maisons Marques & Domaines to include Nebraska and South Dakota. These two states join existing partnerships in Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Johnson Brothers’ luxury organization, Oxford Street Merchants, will manage the expanded six-state alignment. Maisons Marques & Domaines is the U.S. subsidiary of Maison Louis Roederer.

•San Francisco, California-based Hotaling & Co. is launching the second expression in its Fiero Tequila lineup. Distilled by Casa Don Roberto in Mexico, the brand specializes in spicy Tequila. Its first offering, Fiero Habanero Tequila, hit the market last summer. The new release is Fiero Serrano Tequila, made with serrano peppers for a milder spice level. It’s at 40% abv and is available now, priced at $30 a 750-ml. Hotaling & Co.’s import portfolio includes Nikka Whisky, Junipero Gin, Hine Cognac, Convite Mezcal, Severo Tequila, Kavalan Whisky, and Denizen Rum, among others.
