July 31, 2023•New York’s Harlem Standard has partnered with Breakthru Beverage in a new five-year distribution agreement covering the mid-Atlantic. Prior to the deal, Harlem Standard’s four-whiskey portfolio was available in New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. The new partnership with Breakthru brings the brand to Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Harlem Standard’s portfolio consists of a 45% abv American Straight whiskey, a 46.5% abv Straight Bourbon, a 55% abv Four Grain Bourbon, and a 50.5% abv 7-year-old Straight American whiskey.
•Triple Dog Irish whiskey has announced distribution expansions in California, Colorado, and Texas. In Texas, the brand’s home state, the company has partnered with Green Light Distribution to increase chain placement in stores like Spec’s, Total Wine, and Goody Goody, as well as independent retailer expansion. In California, the brand has signed on with American Spirits Exchange and is now available in Total Wine and select independent retailers across the state. Finally, Triple Dog is entering Colorado through Empire Distributors, Inc., and will hit shelves beginning in August.
•Mingle Mocktails has brought on businesswoman Bethenny Frankel as a strategic advisor and ambassador for Mingle’s line of sparkling, non-alcoholic cocktails. Frankel, best known as a cast-member on the Real Housewives of New York and for creating the Skinnygirl line of low-calorie wines and cocktails, will aid in promotion for the brand, in addition to her investment. Mingle comes in six flavors—Cranberry Cosmo, Cucumber Melon Mojito, Key Lime Margarita, Blood Orange Elderflower Mimosa, Blackberry Hibiscus Bellini, and Moscow Mule—that can serve as non-alcoholic cocktails or as mixers for traditional cocktails. The brand sells in 12-ounce cans and 750-ml. bottles across the U.S.
